Message So I go to JIB for lunch back in Jan, driving DD #1. Park next to a silver evo. Doesn't look quite "right", if you know what I mean. Since I don't know those cars that well, hard to tell what's stock.

A guy comes out, and as he's getting close to the car (obviously it's his), I comment, "nice car". We start talking. He replaced the tail lights with stock Lancer tails, has tein coilovers, and has already gone through one set of tires. Turns out he went to the track with [ www.clubz.org ] back in December.

Point to the story: As we're talking about his car, some younger lads (late teens, early twenties) come out of JIB. "Is that your car?" they ask. The owner says "Yes". The next thing the kids ask "What's it run in the quarter?"

lmfao

America, the land where the quarter mile is what determines a car's worth.

side note: he glanced at my unwashed ride, said "very nice". Ahh, to have the pos 323 appreciated by a 30k evo owner.
